Installation meeting - 24 January 2015

I wish to congratulate the Installing Master and Brethren who participated for one of the best ceremonies I have seen.

Thank you to the new WM for the invitation and the thoroughly enjoyable evening and I wish him a wonderful year in the chair.

What a great night, our 70th Anniversary, which was enjoyed by everyone present. I was very proud to be there and part of the Celebrations.

Brethren what a very special time for me to attend the meeting of the 22nd November 2014 to move from a visitor to joining member, why was it so special?

To commemorate the seventieth year of the Lodge of Allegiance 6000 to have the Provincial Grand Master in attendance, to see many old friends from the past come home for this special evening, have visitors from other lodges and be welcomed with open arms, and to incorporate the beginning of freemasonry by giving an excellent rendering of the First degree to a new member who was very touched by the whole ceremony.

Welcoming me into the Lodge as a joining member, I thank you.

Many memories were shared between brothers, lots of laughter and very high spirits and very good address and reply's by so many brothers.

The meal again was excellent, thank you chef and all the ladies for your services.

I drove home feeling very pleased and proud and tickled to death by the Worshipful Master from Machen lodge who mentioned in his address that I had received two Warwickshire ties (for which I thank my brothers) I will be known now as Two Ties Terry

Thank you TTT

Dear W Bro Ralph

I would be very grateful if you would pass on my sincere thanks to the Master, Wardens and Brethren of the Lodge of Allegiance. I had a super evening in your company and received a warm Masonic welcome.

The work in the Temple was first rate and the Master was installed in an exemplary manner. The Lodge has obviously forged strong ties with other Lodges and it made for an excellent festive board.

May I wish the Lodge well for the year ahead and hope to visit you again, in the near future.

Can I also thank you for the assistance prior to the meeting. A good secretary is invaluable to a DC.

Yours S&F

Howard Smith
